Visiting the Farm

Laura on an airplane ride. Dad tending the fire. Tim playing in the fire.
This weekend my parents flew us out to their "farm" in Idaho this weekend. The selling point to my parents was the "strip" so we could fly right in. We rode the four wheeler, burned some piles of wet brush (it was raining on and off) and roasted big franks. It was a time of discoveries. Laura discovered that flying in a small plane is fun because you can see everything. Tim discovered that he hadn't forgotten how to play in the fire. Peter even figured out that if he gnawed on his fingers when we were climbing and descending his ears wouldn't hurt. He also loved looking at all the knobs and gauges. I think there may be some engineer in his blood.
