Corn Chowder (Brian Roth)

1 Onion (thinly sliced)
3 T Margarine, Oil or Butter
2 cups Water
2 cups Sliced potatoes
1 t Salt
2 cups creamed corn
2 cups rich milk
Sprinkle of Thyme
1 can Nuteena (or other nut meat)
Sautee onion in margarine, add water, salt and potatoes. Bring to a boil and simmer 20 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes or until done.
