My more informed reader will realize that Canada Day was the 1st, not the 4th of July. That is because I am mentally delayed by at least 3 days. It takes time to sort through all the genius ideas and find one sufficiently prosaic for posting on my blog.
Laura purchased some fireworks today to celebrate Canada day. Of course most fun fireworks are illegal. Since we don't have an Indian reservation handy poor Peter will just have to live without the fire engine's red glare and the bombs bursting in daddy's hand.
